I’m sharing a couple pictures of one side of Katharina’s nursery today. She doesn’t sleep in here at night yet, but we have started transitioning her into the nursery for naps throughout the day. Brendan will most likely put together the crib in another month or so, and then we may start having her sleep in here at night.
In terms of decor:
We have a rug on the way (linked here), which should get here this week.
I wasn’t able to decide on one specific theme, so we basically did all white furniture with grey and colorful/Floridian accents. The other wall has her changing table and a book case, which I haven’t fully styled yet. Once I do, I’ll be sure to post that.
I’m also still trying to find a chandelier and window treatments. We’ll definitely be ordering these blackout blinds from Ikea and then adding drapes. We have those blackout blinds in our master bedroom, and love them! The white color blends in really well so they’re not obtrusive, and they do truly work in blocking out light.
I can’t wait to keep decorating and share the finished product!
